The Whataroa River is a stunning example of New Zealand’s West Coast Rivers. It is renowned for the quality of the water, not only in the form of the many rapids but also for its amazing colour. Glacier fed from the mountains of the Southern Alps, the water is a mixture between turquoise and a milky hue.
